Volunteering at PAA provides an exciting opportunity to be involved with one of the most dynamic arts education organizations in Northeast Ohio. Progressive Arts Alliance is served by volunteers who offer their dedication and expertise in a variety of fields. Volunteers serve PAA in the following capacities:

Board of Directors
PAA's Board of Directors is composed of outstanding community leaders nominated and elected by other Board members who volunteer time to serve as the governing body of Progressive Arts Alliance. The Board of Directors monitors the organization's operations and actively fundraises for the organization by directly donating to PAA and soliciting monetary and in-kind donations from individuals and organizations in the community. The Board of Directors also advocates for the organization throughout the community in a variety of contexts.

Development Committee
PAA's Development Committee is a diverse group of people dedicated to supporting and promoting PAA through volunteer service, fundraising, and social events. The Development Committee plans and hosts benefit events throughout the year to support PAA's operations and programs.

Program and Office Volunteers
Program volunteers support and enhance the infrastructure of PAA's programs through preparing art supplies, taking photos and video footage of programs, moving supplies and equipment, assisting artists with implementation of programs, and other tasks as needed. Office volunteers provide general office support to PAA's administrative staff and assist with maintaining records, typing, sorting, filing, copying, phoning, preparing mailings, and researching, as needed. Computing and typing skills are necessary.

smARTe Teacher Advisory Board: Supporting Modern ARTs-in-Education
The Teacher Advisory Board includes a group of K-12 educators who meet six times during the school year to review PAA programs, develop PAA partnerships with their school, and contribute to and review PAA's curriculum.

Interns
High school and college interns support PAA's operations through programming, marketing, and internships throughout the school year and during the summer months.
