Progressive Arts Alliance provides an exceptional opportunity for students to meet new friends, share and create through our annual RHAPSODY Hip-Hop Summer Arts Camp. Camp activities are a lot of fun, but they also help students develop their imagination, creativity and self-esteem, as well as valuable skills in teamwork and critical thinking.
Camp will be held at the Idea Center at Playhouse Square
1375 Euclid Avenue
Downtown Cleveland
Open to students age 11 and up, this two-week intensive program features hands-on workshops that allow students to learn more about the history and aesthetic expressions of hip-hop culture:
DJing
MCing (rapping)
Dance (breaking)
Graffiti art
Students learn more about the arts and how hip-hop can be a positive, productive form of creative self-expression. The program culminates in a dynamic performance the last day of camp!
