Arts Integration is an approach to teaching in which students construct and demonstrate understanding through an art form. Students engage in a creative process which connects an art form and another subject area and meets evolving objectives in both.

Art has always had its place in schools. That place has been the art room, with some exceptions for Thanksgiving hand turkeys and the like. The truth is that art’s place is in each and every classroom. Progressive Arts Alliance arts-integrated programs infuse the arts into non-arts classrooms.
